Appeal in 'Gagik Soghomonyan' Fake Case Denied: Lawyer

Lawyer Benik Galstyan writes on his Facebook page: 'Today, I finally received the decision regarding the appeal I lodged on March 21, 2021, directed to the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia about the illegal actions taken against my client, Aram Sargsyan, by the head of the Yerevan City Court, Arthur Mkrtchyan, and others, within the framework of the 'Gagik Soghomonyan' case. The appeal has been denied, and the legality of the decision not to initiate a criminal case has been confirmed by Arsen Martirosyan, the head of the department overseeing the legality of pre-trial proceedings at the RA Special Investigative Service. Naturally, I will challenge the mentioned decisions in court. P.S. The list of potential defendants in the future criminal case has increased by at least two individuals.'
