Karen Karapetyan Will Not Be on the Electoral List, Will Support Robert Kocharyan

On April 3, ArmLur.am reported that former Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan had arrived in Armenia from Moscow. He was welcomed at the VIP hall by several former and current officials, including generals with luxury cars.

According to well-informed sources from the media, Karapetyan has been visiting Yerevan frequently in recent times. Additionally, reports indicate that he is in Armenia during the working days and returns to his family on weekends. These sources also state that Karapetyan is meeting with various political figures, particularly former President Robert Kocharyan, to discuss the current situation in Armenia.

We have learned that during meetings with political forces, Karapetyan clearly states that he will not be on any electoral list and that he will support former President Robert Kocharyan in the snap parliamentary elections scheduled for June 20.

Incidentally, the media has learned that on April 3, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ara Aivazyan and the former Chief of General Staff Onik Gasparyan were also present in the airport's VIP lounge.
