Gunshots Fired Near Casino in Tsaghkadzor by My Step Friends
Rustam Stepanyan, a known associate of My Step MP Hayk Sargsyan with a criminal past, instigated an incident in Tsaghkadzor yesterday. According to eyewitnesses, gunshots were fired near the "Royal" casino in Tsaghkadzor by the mayor of Artik, Mkhitar Varagyan, and Rustam. This was reported by Tert.am.
When asked what led to the gunshots, the witness indicated that nothing extraordinary had caught their attention prior to the gunfire: "It seemed as if they shot, and that was it; I didn't hear any return fire." Regarding who the gunshots were directed at, and whose damaged vehicle it was, the witness said that they did not know and did not recognize anyone involved.
The media also sought clarification from Hayk Sargsyan, as there were reports suggesting he was connected to the incident; however, the MP denied this, stating, "I was in Tsaghkadzor several months ago, and I did not leave my house all day yesterday."
It is worth noting that Rustam Stepanyan is from the village of Dzhitkhank and organized a protest during a rally called by Nikol Pashinyan on March 1, where residents of Dzhitkhank held placards behind him.
Rustam Stepanyan is 33 years old and was on international wanted list by Russian law enforcement in 2016. He faced charges of kidnapping and murder. Currently, it is unknown what status the criminal case has in Russia regarding Rustam Stepanyan.
