Azerbaijani MPs Spread Extreme Insults and Hatred Towards Armenia's Ombudsman: Tatoyan

The Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, writes: 'Azerbaijani MPs and other officials are spreading extreme insults and hatred towards the Human Rights Defender of Armenia concerning the rights issues of border residents in Armenia.'

"The Ombudsman of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, is an illiterate and excessively rude subject," stated an Azerbaijani MP from the Milli Majlis, referring to the Defender's statements regarding the rights of border residents in Armenia.

"At times falling into total hysteria, he puts forward demands that a normal person wouldn't even think of. (...) All this indicates the inadequate behavior of a person with obvious signs of manic schizophrenia," another Azerbaijani official commented about the Human Rights Defender of Armenia.

According to Azerbaijani publications, "A. Tatoyan exaggerates the issue of prisoners of war for days, irritating foreign partners, parliamentarians, and media outlets."
