479 New Cases of Coronavirus Confirmed in Armenia

As of April 5, a total of 479 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Armenia, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 197,113.

The National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia reports that in one day, 22 citizens have died as a result of the coronavirus, increasing the total number of fatalities to 3,614.

During the same period, there were 2 cases of death from other illnesses among patients infected with the coronavirus. As of April 5, the total number of these fatalities is 923.

In total, 22 people have died in one day, raising the total number of deaths to 4,535.

On the positive side, 880 individuals have recovered in one day, bringing the total number of recoveries to 176,889. The number of individuals currently undergoing treatment is 15,687 (a decrease of 425 over one day).

In total, 3,581 tests were conducted in one day, with an overall of 876,820 tests carried out to date.
