Photos. Debris of 'Iskander' Missiles Allegedly Used by Armenia Displayed in Baku
In Baku, in the territory of 'Azerlandshaft' LLC, representatives of the Azerbaijani Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) displayed debris of 'Iskander' missiles, which, according to Azerbaijani claims, were used by Armenia against Azerbaijan during the Artsakh war. This was reported by haqqin.az.
Since December 2020, the Azerbaijani mine action agency has been clearing mines and munitions in Shushi. The debris of 'Iskander' missiles was discovered on March 15 during the agency's operation to clear the area of mines and unexploded ordnance.
Previously, Baku announced that during the 44-day war, Armenia had deployed 'Iskander' missile systems against Azerbaijan. This was stated by the Mine Action Agency.
On March 15 of this year, during the city's area clearance operation, two fragments of exploded missiles were found. The geographical coordinates of the missile debris are as follows: 39 ° 45'38.10" N 46 ° 44'33.90 "E and 39 ° 45'27.80" N 46 ° 45'25.80 "E. During the verification of the missile identification number (9M723) by the agency's specialists, it was determined that the debris belonged to the 'Iskander' missile system. It can even be established with a simple search on open internet resources that the identification number 9M723 belongs to the 'Iskander' missile,” the statement said.
The agency emphasized that all of this confirms that Armenia used 'Iskander' missiles against Azerbaijan in the direction of Shushi.
