Discussions on Donbas Without Zelensky Not a Cause for Panic, Says Alexey Reznikov
Russian President Vladimir Putin's meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel without Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is not a cause for panic, stated Alexey Reznikov, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, as reported by News of Donbas.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, it is important for Ukraine that decisions are made with Ukraine's participation, and discussions can take place in any format. He assured that there has been no violation of international protocol and advised against creating problems from it. In Reznikov's view, it is sufficient that Ukraine is on the agenda of Germany and France.
On March 30, Putin, through a video call, discussed the situation in Ukraine and emphasized the importance of direct dialogue between Kyiv and the leaders of the self-proclaimed republics of Donetsk and Luhansk during negotiations with Merkel and Macron.
