Other Manufacturers' Vaccines to Be Acquired Soon, Says Narek Zeynalyan

Only 5 deaths have been recorded following vaccinations with AstraZeneca, and so far, there is no direct link proven between the vaccine and these fatalities. This was stated by Narek Zeynalyan, the chairman of the Health and Social Affairs Committee of the National Assembly, during a conversation with journalists.

“No vaccine can be free from side effects. All vaccines have certain side effects. The connection between the deaths and the administration of the vaccine still needs to be proven. Currently, there is no evidence. Several countries have refused to vaccinate people under the age of 55 with AstraZeneca, while it is still being used for those 55 and older. Our country has received AstraZeneca vaccine for 12,000 individuals. Soon, vaccines from other manufacturers will also be acquired,” the parliament member noted.

Narek Zeynalyan mentioned that there are more people waiting to be vaccinated than the doses that have been obtained.
