Marukyan Proposes to Award Commando the Title of National Hero of Armenia

The leader of LHK, Edmon Marukyan, has proposed to the Prime Minister of Armenia to award the title of National Hero of Armenia to the Commando for his exceptional service of national significance provided to the Republic of Armenia, posthumously honoring him with the Order of the Homeland.

“Dear compatriots, yesterday, on March 31, 2021, we lost the hero of Artsakh, Major General Arkadi Ter-Tadevosyan—Commando. There is certainly no need to present the feats of the Commando during the Artsakh war, as well as in battles fought to protect our homeland thereafter, and his exceptional services rendered to the Fatherland.

Accordingly, I have suggested to the Prime Minister to appeal to the President of the Republic with a request to bestow the title of National Hero of Armenia posthumously upon Major General Arkadi Ter-Tadevosyan for his exceptional services of national significance in the defense of the motherland, awarding him the Order of the Homeland,” wrote Marukyan and published the official document of the proposal.
