Azerbaijan Publishes Coordinates of Iskander Missile Fragments in Shushi
During the 44-day war in Artsakh, Armenia employed Iskander missile systems against Azerbaijan. This was announced by the Azerbaijani Mine Action Agency (ANAMA), according to Minval.
The agency's representative reminded that mine clearance and munitions disposal operations in Shushi began last December, and during the land clearance operations in the city on March 15 of this year, two exploded missile fragments were discovered.
"The geographical coordinates of the missile fragments are as follows: 39° 45'38.10" N 46° 44'33.90" E and 39° 45'27.80" N 46° 45'25.80" E. During the verification of the missile's identification number (9M723) by the agency's specialists, it was found that these fragments belong to the Iskander missile system. It can be confirmed even through open internet resources that the 9M723 identification number corresponds to the Iskander missile," the statement said.
The agency emphasized that this all confirms that Armenia has used Iskander missiles against Azerbaijan in the direction of Shushi.
