‘Do Not Betray My Son and the Other Fallen’ – Request from a Fallen Soldier's Mother to Pashinyan
Lilit A.
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, who is on a regional visit to the Armavir Province, paid tribute to the memory of the fallen soldiers in the Aragatsham community. At the grave of one of the fallen soldiers, the soldier's mother addressed the Prime Minister, saying: ‘Whose fault is it? I demand and command that you be with us. My son’s fight is not over. I am so strong a mother that I am ready to take up arms and go fight. You must be with us until the end. We will not allow you to falter. Your strength is us; our strength is God, Mr. Pashinyan. Do not betray my son and the other fallen. This is my request and demand.’ As Pashinyan listened silently, he held the woman's hand at her last words.
