Families of Captured and Fallen Soldiers Mostly Do Not Blame Nikol Pashinyan, Newly Elected MP
Many families of captured and fallen soldiers surround me, and I believe they are present in our surroundings; they predominantly do not blame Nikol Pashinyan because they understand what has happened. This was stated by the newly elected MP Emma Palyan from the 'My Step' faction during a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly today, March 23.
When asked what had happened, she replied, 'Due to years of plundering, we did not have a well-equipped army, everything that has been discussed after the war.'
Referring to the situation in Syunik, Palyan noted that opposition representatives also recently announced in the National Assembly that the region is currently peaceful.
In response to a question about why Nikol Pashinyan moves accompanied by many bodyguards, she stated, 'We are talking about the security of the head of state, the country's leader.'
