We Have Withdrawn from Negotiations for the Construction of the Hrant Matevosyan Center: David Matevosyan
David Matevosyan, director of the Hrant Matevosyan Foundation, made a post on Facebook informing that they have officially withdrawn from ineffective negotiations for the construction, furnishing, and operation of the Hrant Matevosyan Center.
“Today, on 21.03.21, we officially withdrew from ineffective negotiations for the construction, furnishing, and operation of the Hrant Matevosyan Center. Since 2018, despite all our EFFORTS, proposals, insistence, and appeals, despite the occasional flickers of apparent progress that seemed to hint at logical elements in the positions and opinions of the Armenian government, NOTHING-NOTHING-NOTHING has changed and will change. From here on, I appeal and will appeal exclusively to PEOPLE and SOCIETY, exclusively to non-governmental organizations, to business people—anyone who understands the value and role of CULTURE, WORK, and HRANT. We will build, complete, and operate our CENTER with that funding. FIRST, WE ARE BUILDING our Center,”
