Video: Preliminary Agreement to Return 30 Captives, Family Member of Missing Soldier Details Meeting with Minister

Families of missing soldiers met with Defense Minister Vagharshak Harutyunyan. This was reported during a Facebook live broadcast by Arsen Gukasyan, a family member of a missing soldier.

“During that meeting, they promised that very soon, in stages, all our servicemen who are in Artsakh will be brought back to Armenia. That is why I am going to Artsakh tomorrow to understand what is happening; I believe there will be meetings there as well and I will inform about the results,” said Gukasyan.

He noted that he was not personally present at the meeting with the minister, but the other attendees received answers to all their questions.

“I don’t want to get ahead of myself, but God willing, this meeting will yield results, and regarding what was said, that there is a preliminary agreement for 30 captives to return, I hope that will happen. At least we will know that joy will enter the homes of 30 families,” he stated.
