VIDEO: A decisive resolution will take place in the coming days, says Vazgen Manukyan
A decisive resolution will take place in the coming days. This was stated by Vazgen Manukyan, the leader of the "Movement for the Salvation of the Homeland," in a conversation with reporters.
"We are working with Plan A; when the announcement of the General Staff occurred, we expanded our activities around that point, because it was very significant. Today or tomorrow, you will see the decisive resolution," said Vazgen Manukyan.
He also noted that the army is united and will never retreat, emphasizing that this is not just about Onik Gasparyan's persona. "The army will not retreat, as this is not just a matter of Onik Gasparyan, and the entire army accepts this as a collective issue, where there will be no retreat," he said.
The leader of the "Movement for the Salvation of the Homeland" also indicated that Nikol Pashinyan cannot hold on to power for long and that there is only one option for retaining authority. "Nikol Pashinyan cannot maintain power; day by day, wider circles of the population do not accept him, all institutions do not accept him, and there remains only one way— to transition to autocracy. To transition to autocracy, he needs the army," he stated.
Vazgen Manukyan also referred to the criminal case initiated against him, which has been sent to court. "The trial will be soon, and we will know what will happen. I never comment on what I say and call for; that is the job of lawyers. All of this is natural, as Nikol Pashinyan wants to eliminate his political opponents," Manukyan concluded.
It is noteworthy that Baghramyan Avenue continues to remain closed, with citizens and the opposition demanding Nikol Pashinyan's resignation.
