The Political Path to Restoring Artsakh's Territorial Integrity is on the Agenda

The President of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, assures that the political path to restoring Artsakh's territorial integrity is one of the important issues on the authorities' agenda. Harutyunyan made this statement today during a meeting with a group of residents from the occupied Hadrut region.

During the meeting, issues related to the resettlement of residents from displaced villages to other locations in Artsakh were discussed. According to Harutyunyan, the approach of the Artsakh authorities prioritizes the accommodation of residents from the same community in a single area. Some communities have already made their decisions, and after the completion of project works, construction will begin in the villages of Noragyu, Khndzoresk, and Ivanyan in the Askeran region.

It is noteworthy that following the trilateral statement in November 2020, the Hadrut region of Artsakh came under Azerbaijani control. The residents of Hadrut have been deprived of their homes.
