“Nothing Can Be Excluded in Politics”: Vanetsyan on Nomination of Robert Kocharyan as Prime Ministerial Candidate
“Nothing can be excluded in politics.” This was stated today by Arthur Vanetsyan, the leader of the Fatherland party, during a conversation with journalists. He was responding to a question about the accuracy of reports in the press suggesting that if early elections are held, the Fatherland party would form an alliance with the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF), with Robert Kocharyan as the prime ministerial candidate.
“Let’s not jump the gun on these topics; we have a primary issue at hand: the removal of Nikol Pashinyan, the formation of a temporary government, and the early elections. Once we reach that stage, we will discuss it,” said Arthur Vanetsyan.
When asked if he rules out such a development, Vanetsyan stated that over the past year, he has learned that nothing should be excluded in politics. “Nothing can be excluded, but it is also impossible to assert anything at this moment,” emphasized Arthur Vanetsyan.
