If the Turk Enters Our Territory, He Will Exit Horizontally: Agavnoy Village Mayor Andranik Chavushyan

“There are people who think, what’s the point of building if we have to give everything to the Turks? I want to say that we are not going to give anything to the Turks. We firmly declare that they will not enter our territory. If they do, they certainly know what might happen. We told them that everything has happened against our will. We will continue to defend ourselves, we will continue to fight.

The number of people returning to the village will increase if the housing issue is resolved. We can quickly organize the resettlement of people. There are many who want to settle in our village. I believe that if the government decides, the housing issue can be resolved very quickly.

We have not reconciled with what has happened, and there hasn’t been a single case where Azerbaijanis have entered the village. If the Turk enters our territory, he will exit horizontally. We defend our village and we are not going to leave at any cost.
