The Current Government Has Fallen Into Its Own Trap by Not Lifting Martial Law: Ara Zohrabyan

The current government has fallen into its own trap by not lifting martial law. This was stated by Ara Zohrabyan, the president of the Chamber of Advocates, on his Facebook page.

According to Article 5, part 3, points 2 and 3 of the Law on Defense, as well as Article 15, part 3, during wartime or martial law, other forces, civil defense, and emergency authorized state bodies come under the operational subordination of the Armed Forces.

During war or martial law, the composition of the Armed Forces also includes other forces, civil defense, and emergency authorized state bodies. According to point 7 of part 1 of Article 3 of the same law, the other forces include police forces, border troops, state protection service, and special units of national security.
