Over 172,000 Covid-19 Cases, 265 New in Last 24 Hours: Pandemic Situation in Armenia

As of February 28 at 11:00 AM, a total of 172,058 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Armenia, with 163,394 recoveries and 3,192 deaths. Currently, there are 4,657 patients receiving treatment for the coronavirus. A total of 729,267 tests have been conducted, according to the Ministry of Health.

In the past day, 4,661 tests were performed, resulting in 265 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus. There were 85 recoveries and 2 deaths reported. The previous day recorded 2 deaths where patients had contracted the coronavirus, but the cause of death was attributed to other illnesses. The total number of such cases stands at 815.
