Larsi Open: Approximately 480 Accumulated Trucks on the Russian Side

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that there are closed roads in the Republic of Armenia. The roads from the "Amberd" high mountainous meteorological station in the Aragatsotn province to the Amberd fortress and to the Kari Lake are closed. There are areas of black ice on the Vanadzor-Dilijan and the Goris-Sisian roads in Syunik province.

According to information received from the Emergency Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is open for all types of vehicles; however, there are approximately 480 accumulated trucks on the Russian side. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
