Former Gas Station Employee Appointed Acting Mayor of Dilijan, Identifies as Male in Personal Data
In accordance with Article 27, paragraph 2.1 of the Law on Local Self-Government of the Republic of Armenia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has signed a decision appointing Davit Sargsyan as the acting head of the Dilijan community. The decision has been published on the e-gov.am website.
However, a social media outlet reports that the acting mayor of Dilijan is a former gas station employee. “But the absurdity doesn’t end there; the acting head of the Dilijan community has identified himself as ‘male’ in his personal data form. He has a secondary vocational education, and even misspelled the name of his graduated faculty, which he later corrected,” the report notes.
