We Intend to Establish Closer Cooperation with Our Security Number One Partner, Russia - Pashinyan

Today, I intend to sign a decision on the formation of a working group headed by the Minister of Defense, which will already implement the timeline for the roadmap of the concept of armed forces reforms. This was announced today at the start of the government meeting by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

“I want to emphasize that in this process we intend to establish even closer cooperation with our security number one partner, the Russian Federation, and we are confident that as a result of this process, this cooperation will become more effective in the field of security, military cooperation, and military-technical cooperation. I hope that by the date of the completion of the roadmap, we will realize at least a large part of this conceptual work, if not entirely, and in practice, we will already start implementing the agreements reached and making decisions,” said the Prime Minister.
