We Call on Nikol Pashinyan Not to Lead the Country into Civil War: BHK

The political council of the Prosperous Armenia party has made a statement.

Dear compatriots, today our country and its statehood are facing a decisive crossroads. The statement by the Armed Forces of Armenia and the Chief of General Staff about standing by our people and statehood is breakthrough.

We call on Nikol Pashinyan not to lead the country into civil war, not to spill Armenian blood inside the country, not to turn Armenians into enemies of each other, as our real enemy lies beyond the borders.

Nikol Pashinyan has one last opportunity to leave politically without turbulence and not to endanger our already war-torn statehood further.

We will not allow bloodshed of Armenians by Armenians in our country; we will not allow a person suffering from the obsession of extending his power by even one more day to lead our compatriots into clashes.

We are losing statehood.

We call on the NSS of Armenia, the Police, and all other law enforcement agencies not to turn against their own people and not to become tools for maintaining one person's power.

The current situation must be resolved exclusively through political means. We are with the people and will do everything possible to ensure a peaceful and smooth change of power in our country.
