The Statement of RA GSH Generals is Not an Attempt at a Military Coup: Marukyan

The statement of the generals of the RA Armed Forces is not an attempt at a military coup, wrote Edmond Marukyan, the head of the 'Enlightened Armenia' faction in the National Assembly, on his Facebook page.

He emphasized that the demand for the resignation of the Prime Minister presented by them in the current situation does not contain any elements of a crime characteristic of an attempt at a military coup, specifically related to violations of constitutional order and threats to the security of the state.

It is noteworthy that the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia are calling for the resignation of the Prime Minister and the government.
