My Respect, Mr. General, and Accept My Apology: Naira Zohrabyan to Tiran Khachatryan
NAIRA ZOHRABYAN, a member of the Armenian National Assembly from the Prosperous Armenia faction, addressed the recent dismissal of Tiran Khachatryan, the First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, following Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's proposal.
She specifically stated: "My perceptions about Tiran Khachatryan, the First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, were different. Or perhaps I misunderstood his explanation regarding the Azerbaijani GPS seizures in the Sotk mine area. Today, General and National Hero Tiran Khachatryan proved that he is a dignified officer. He did not flatter Nikol, nor did he attempt to justify Nikol's unjustifiable thoughts related to the 'unbeatable' Iskander. The General simply rejected and laughed at Nikol's gymnastics as an officer respecting his insignia. And he was dismissed on the spot.
My respects to you, Mr. General, and accept my apologies for not understanding you and for any offense caused. You are an honorable officer, and believe me, the time of the sycophants is nearing its end, and the political dumpster will have unprecedented 'press'.
Long live you for not compromising and not flattering.
P.S. And a question to Armen Sarkissian: When you sign such papers against Nikol with such enthusiasm, don’t you want to ask what the General said wrong? Or are the papers against Nikol an unquestionable constant for you?"
