Don't Try to Use Force Against the People, Nikol, Stand Down: Naira Zohrabyan
Member of the National Assembly from the "Prosperous Armenia" faction, Naira Zohrabyan, addressed Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in a post on her Facebook page.
“Don’t try to use force against the people. Nikol, stand down. Since November 10, you are no longer in power. You are defeated and you are a symbol of defeat. Leave peacefully. Without clashes. Do not attempt to incite civil strife in the country. The blood of your thousands of bright boys is enough. Don’t try to satisfy your thirst for blood by pitting Armenian against Armenian. You shed the blood of the Turk, not the Armenian. We will not allow you to spill Armenian blood. I call on the members of the National Assembly's 'My Step' faction: hold Nikol Pashinyan’s hand. Do not allow this man to incite civil war in the country now. Nikol must leave and face justice. There is no alternative to this. Dear compatriots, do not fall for Nikol Pashinyan’s provocations to maintain his power at all costs. We are losing our homeland. Nikol Pashinyan is a heavy and brutal bone in the throat of Armenian statehood. Nikol Pashinyan must leave and he will leave. My deep respect to the Chief Staff of the Armed Forces for standing by the people. I am confident that all state institutions will stand by the people and that the individual who committed political suicide on November 10 will have to leave without incident and face justice.”
It should be noted that moments ago, the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia issued a statement demanding the resignation of the Prime Minister and the government, while simultaneously warning against using force against the people whose children died defending the Homeland and Artsakh. After this statement, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan posted on his Facebook page inviting his supporters to Republic Square and labeled the Chief Staff’s announcement as an “attempt at a military coup.”
