Proposed Rent Prices by Some Stepanakert Residents Are Far from Moral Norms

The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, convened an extended working consultation on February 24 regarding several issues related to housing and internal security. This was reported by the presidential office of Artsakh.

Speaking about the problems of displaced residents, the head of state particularly addressed the rent prices in the capital city. He noted, 'The rental prices proposed by some Stepanakert residents are not only illogical but also far from moral norms. The government will take urgent measures within the law to rectify the situation, and if necessary, we will deprive unscrupulous landlords of access to state support programs and will also apply accountability measures,' emphasized the president, instructing the relevant authorities to develop and implement appropriate regulations in a short time.

There was also discussion regarding the collection of illegal ammunition, tightening traffic rules, and issues aimed at ensuring legality in the country. The president strictly instructed the authorized bodies to ensure the rule of law and internal order, paying special attention to preventive measures and the equality of all before the law.
