Peskov Explains Why Putin Went Hatless in 20-Degree Cold

Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary for the President of Russia, explained why Vladimir Putin appeared without a hat in 20-degree cold. On February 23, Putin participated in a ceremony laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier near the Kremlin, honoring the memory of fallen soldiers.

“You know his health is good. Yes, unfortunately, despite the cold, he often prefers to remain without a hat, especially during such emotional ceremonial occasions. We are truly impressed by your concern for his health,” Peskov responded to journalists’ questions about why the country’s leader was hatless in the freezing temperatures.

The Kremlin spokesperson added that he would convey journalists' concerns to Putin.
