Today in Sochi, negotiations took place between the Presidents of Russia and Belarus. During the meeting, Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko discussed economic issues and the situation related to the coronavirus. Lukashenko expressed gratitude to Putin for the assistance provided to the Belarusian economy.

RIA Novosti reports that after the negotiations, the two heads of state went skiing in Krasnaya Polyana. According to reports, the presidents ascended the slopes using snowcats. Lukashenko was the first to reach the finish line. However, while descending the slope, Putin was the first to arrive at the destination.

To conduct negotiations with the President of the Russian Federation, the President of Belarus arrived in Russia two days ago.
