Participants of the Disobedience March Illuminated Baghramyan Avenue
Citizens illuminated Baghramyan Avenue with their mobile phones, calling on residents of nearby buildings to join the disobedience march. Gegham Manukyan, a representative of the ARF Supreme Body, suggested that citizens light up the street. He noted that this gesture carries one message: to show the 'traitor' that there is a public demand for his resignation.
The march participants also passed by the Raffi School, from where many citizens left for the front during the war on September 27. 'Thousands of compatriots left from here as volunteers and conscripts to defend the homeland, not to betray it. They left, unaware that their backs would be weakened, that the government would betray them,' Manukyan said.
It is worth mentioning that the march, which started from the Vahagn Davtyan Garden in the Arabkir administrative district, moved along Komitas Avenue and then stopped near the Special Investigative Service building, where they threw eggs at the building. Currently, they are moving along Baghramyan Avenue towards France Square, where a disobedience action will take place. Meanwhile, the authorities were concentrating police forces in the city center with buses.
