Former Deputy Chief of Police of Yerevan, Colonel Robert Melkonyan Detained

Police have detained Colonel Robert Melkonyan, a member of the 'VET0' public-political movement, from Freedom Square. Member of the movement Anna Hakobyan told journalists that the police stated that Melkonyan was detained for not complying with a lawful request from the police; however, there was no legal basis for that request.
