Russia and Turkey Discuss Progress on Nagorno-Karabakh Agreements

The Presidents of the Russian Federation and Turkey, Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, have discussed over the phone the progress on the implementation of agreements regarding Nagorno-Karabakh.

According to the Kremlin's press service, the discussion continued the dialogue on the situation surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh, within the context of the agreements recorded in the statements of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia on November 9, 2020, and January 11, 2021.

"The conversation focused on the coordination of actions between Russia and Turkey for the benefit of the socio-economic development of the region. The interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the launch of operations of the Russian-Turkish Joint Center for Monitoring the Ceasefire," the message states.
