"I Am in Debt, but to My Homeland": Artak Tovmasyan
The newspaper "Past" reports that Artak Tovmasyan, the head of the Tovmasyan Foundation, does not wish to comment on rumors regarding his significant debts, which some say is the reason for his entry into politics. "It's a ridiculous absurdity, what should I comment on?" he said.
We insisted, saying, "After your announcement about forming a political team, there’s no end to what is being written about you." He replied, "That means I've started everything correctly." But what debts are we really talking about? At least give us a word or two.
"I have spent my entire life on investments and charity work, which would have been impossible under the circumstances you mentioned. However, if we are talking about a debt to my Homeland, then one lifetime is not enough to repay it," Tovmasyan added half-jokingly, half-seriously in an interview with "Past."
