40 Accidents Registered in Yerevan Within 2 Hours

This morning, between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM, the Traffic Police received reports of 40 traffic accidents. One incident also resulted in bodily injury. This information was provided to Auroranews by the press service of the Police of the Republic of Armenia.

It is noteworthy that since early morning, countless reports have been received from drivers in Yerevan, who are dissatisfied with the snow removal efforts, adding that the streets are covered in black ice.

Regarding the snow removal operations, Auroranews spoke with the spokesperson of the mayor's office, Hakob Karapetyan, who mentioned that ideal snow clearing should occur within one hour or less after snowfall. Karapetyan also added that snow removal work is ongoing in the capital.
