Who Will Be the First to Get Vaccinated Against Coronavirus? Health Minister Signs Order

The Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan signed an order on February 15 to establish the risk groups for vaccinations against coronavirus disease.

According to the order:

1. Vaccinations against coronavirus disease will be carried out in two phases.
2. The risk groups for the first phase of vaccinations are:
1. Residents and staff of social protection institutions for elderly individuals and staff of other social protection institutions,
2. Healthcare workers,
3. Individuals aged 65 and above, starting with those aged 80 and older,
4. Individuals aged 16-64 with chronic diseases, according to specific vaccines recommended by the World Health Organization and the guidelines for the application of specific vaccines approved by the Minister of Health.

The risk groups for the second phase of vaccinations are:

1. University faculty and teachers,
2. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations,
3. Military personnel,
4. Justice sector employees,
5. Public transport sector employees,
6. Government officials.
