Suspect Identified for Defacing Holocaust and Genocide Memorial

On February 12, it was reported that the Holocaust and Genocide Memorial located in the Oval Park had been defaced and damaged with red paint. Thanks to the actions of the Central Police Department's Criminal Investigation Unit, it was discovered that the act was committed by a 36-year-old man. Following the police's explanatory work, he presented himself to the department on February 15 and provided a confession.

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 260 of the RA Criminal Code (Vandalism). An investigation is underway.
