Trial of Kocharyan and Others Continues

The trial concerning Armenia's second president Robert Kocharyan and others continues at the General Jurisdiction Court of Shengavit administrative district in Yerevan.

During the previous session, attorney of Yuri Khachaturov, Mihran Poghosyan, submitted a motion to lift the measure of restraint against his client. After two days of deliberation, Judge Anna Danibekyan rejected the motion.

Earlier, motions were also submitted regarding the request to disqualify the prosecutors and the judge herself. These requests faced the same fate of rejection.
