Reports Indicate Some Employers Are Coercing Employees to Attend Rallies
Reports have emerged suggesting that some employers are using their leverage to coerce employees into attending rallies. This information has been confirmed by the Police.
It is noted that such coercion constitutes a crime against the constitutional rights and freedoms of individuals, as outlined in Article 143 (Violation of Equality of Rights of Individuals) of the RA Criminal Code. This offense is punishable by a fine ranging from three to five hundred times the minimum wage or by imprisonment for up to three years, resulting in the deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in specific activities for a maximum of three years.
We urge individuals to refrain from participating in such practices, and citizens who encounter such phenomena are encouraged to report to the police or call 1-02.
