Offshore Scandal at NSS: Details from the Recording of Kchoyan and Ashot Sukiasyan's Conversation
The newspaper 'Zhamanak' reports that a recording of a phone conversation between Archbishop Navasam Kchoyan of the Ararat Patriarchal Diocese and his pupil Ashot Sukiasyan has surfaced online, related to the infamous offshore scandal.
The approximately 25-minute recording reveals Kchoyan and Sukiasyan planning their future actions and discussing the alteration of their signatures in an offshore-registered company. They also touch upon the concern that if an inquiry is made by the Republic of Sierra Leone in Africa, and accurate information emerges showing that one of the original owners of the company opened in the offshore zone is in fact himself, it would be a disgrace from head to toe.
Paylak Hayrapetyan informed 'Zhamanak' that he intends to send the recording to the NSS for further action. 'The recording clarifies everything I have been speaking about for the past 10 years,' said Hayrapetyan.
Further details are available in the newspaper's issue.
