Lavrov Blames the EU for Rupturing Relations with Russia
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has stated that the European Union has been persistently breaking off relations with Russia for years, as reported by Anadolu Agency. During a joint press conference in St. Petersburg with his Finnish counterpart, Lavrov announced that many of the organizations involved in the normalization of EU-Russia relations have either ceased operations or been frozen.
According to the Russian Foreign Minister, currently, bilateral contacts are focused on specific topics such as Iran's nuclear issue and the conflict in Syria. Lavrov assured that Russia is ready to maintain good relations with the EU if the European body is also prepared for it.
