Visitors Can Enter Armenia by Land or Air

Tourists can travel to Armenia if they have a negative coronavirus test. Russia has resumed air communication with Armenia based on mutual agreement. Starting from February 15, planes are conducting four weekly flights on the Moscow-Yerevan route. The decision to open air borders between the countries was made upon the recommendation of the operational headquarters for preventing the import and spread of coronavirus, reports rbk.ru.

Travel to Armenia is possible by both land and air routes. The country is open to tourists. Upon arrival in Armenia, one must present a COVID-19 test that was taken no more than 72 hours prior, as stated on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia. The test certificate can be in Russian, Armenian, or English. Testing can be done at the airport, but this requires undergoing self-isolation.

For citizens of Armenia traveling to Russia, a negative coronavirus test is also mandatory.
