Russia-Iran Military Exercises Begin
Military naval exercises between Iran and Russia have commenced in the northern Indian Ocean on Monday. The information was confirmed to TASS by Maxim Suslov, the press attaché at the Russian Embassy in Tehran.
"The exercises began today. We confirm that," he stated. Earlier, the Iranian army's press service had reported that the exercises were set to begin on February 16.
