About 220 Trucks Accumulated on the Russian Side of Lars

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that there are closed roadways in the territory of Armenia. The roads from the 'Amberd' high-altitude meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to the Amberd Fortress and to the Kari Lake are closed.

Regarding Lars, there are about 220 trucks accumulated on the Russian side. According to information obtained from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Emergency Management Department and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergency Ministry in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to use winter tires exclusively.
