A Group of Soldiers Awarded Posthumously with the Medal of Valor

By the initiative of the Prime Minister of Armenia and the decree of the President of Armenia, a group of soldiers has been posthumously awarded the Medal of Valor.

“Based on the Prime Minister's initiative, in accordance with Article 136 of the Constitution, as well as Article 5.3, paragraphs 1 and 9 of the law on 'State Awards and Honorable Titles of the Republic of Armenia,' the following servicemen of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia are awarded the Medal of Valor posthumously for their courage and unwavering dedication while defending the borders of the Motherland:

• Andranik Martirosi Shahnazaryan, officer of unit N, senior lieutenant
• Hrayr Seyrani Mkrtchyan, serviceman of unit N, sergeant
• Roman Sureni Margaryan, serviceman of unit N, private
• Svmbat Mihrani Avetisyain, serviceman of unit N, private
• Armen Garegin Martirosyan, serviceman of unit N, private
• Garik Grigori Barseghyan, serviceman of unit N, private
• Sargis Vahrami Harutyunyan, serviceman of unit N, private
• Harutyun Gevorgi Andreasyan, serviceman of unit N, private
• Georg Seryozhayi Arshakyan, serviceman of unit N, private
