I Wouldn’t Wish Such a Project Even on My Enemy: Serge Sarkisian Talks About Pashinyan Being His Project
I wouldn’t wish such a project even on my enemy, let alone that I would scribble such absurdity for myself. This was stated by former president Serge Sarkisian in an interview with ArmNews, commenting on the speculation that Nikol Pashinyan is his project.
According to the press service of the 3rd President of the Republic of Armenia, Serge Sarkisian, also the leader of the Republican Party of Armenia, spoke about pressing issues, including the negotiation process for resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, diplomatic and military-political failures during the last war in Artsakh, the reasons and consequences of capitulation, and programs aimed at finding a way out of the created situation and the future.
“When this crazy government refused our achievements and started to obtain information about the history of negotiations from Aliyev, it was already clear to me that we were heading toward defeat, that we were heading toward war,” Sarkisian noted, referring to the relationship between Nikol Pashinyan and Aliyev.
“If Aliyev's actions are considered constructive by the capitulator, then he should explain which actions they are—whether starting military operations, whether there were some secret agreements, or whether some secret promises were made to each other,” Sarkisian added.
The television station has released a teaser for the interview, stating that it will be aired soon.
