VIDEO: Russian Peacekeepers Accompany Over 60 Azerbaijani Trucks to Shushi, Says Russian Defense Ministry

As part of the implementation of the trilateral statement made by the leaders of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan on November 9, 2020, Russian peacekeepers continue to assist the state bodies of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia to restore civilian infrastructure and create conditions for the normal life of the population in affected areas, according to the Russian Defense Ministry's website.

"At the request of the Azerbaijani side, the servicemen of the Russian peacekeeping contingent ensured the safety of the movement of two columns of automotive equipment from the Republic of Azerbaijan through the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. More than 60 trucks carrying construction materials were escorted by Russian servicemen to Shushi for infrastructure restoration," the statement reads.
