Tornado in Turkey: 16 Injured

On the evening of February 11, a tornado swept through the Alaçatı port area in the Çeşme district of Turkey's southern İzmir province, leaving 16 people injured with various injuries. This was reported by Ermenihaber.

The tornado caused damage to numerous buildings' roofs, vehicles, and even led to the destruction of homes. The İzmir governor's office stated that this is an unusual occurrence, as such a powerful tornado has not been seen in İzmir before. It lifted many vehicles into the air and tossed them in different directions, causing significant damage.

While the tornado wreaked havoc in the mentioned area, heavy hail fell in other regions of İzmir.
