Increase in Income Tax Payments for Mortgage Loan Interest, Reports SRS

The State Revenue Committee (SRS) of Armenia has reported an increase in the amount of income tax payments directed towards mortgage loan interest in 2020. As of January 1, 2020, there were 12,322 participants involved in the process, with the amount returned for income tax on interest payments for mortgage loans amounting to 13.3 billion AMD. This marks an increase of approximately 5.4 billion AMD compared to the same period last year.
