Ani Khachatryan to Mayor Marutyan: 'Has anything changed, can we now speak without a mask?'

During an extraordinary session of the Yerevan City Council, when Gevorg Nazaryan, head of the Environmental Protection Department of the municipality, was presenting the next item, Mayor Hayk Marutyan commented, 'A bit louder, Mr. Nazaryan. Do you want to take off your mask?'

This prompted a response from Ani Khachatryan, a member of the 'Lus' faction, who said, 'Mr. Mayor, has anything changed, can we now speak without a mask? Remember how you treated Ms. Vardanyan when the first line was escaping? Has the situation changed?'

Marutyan replied, 'Yes, everyone has been infected and recovered, particularly myself.'

Khachatryan continued, 'It was a larger hall, but you escaped, and yesterday you spoke without a mask.'
